|  | With "Lost In Translation", the exceptional Norwegian artist and pianist KYRRE KVAM presents his sensitive compositions with dreamy and wistful piano sounds in ten texts set to music. The singer´s third album is characterized by his picturesque voice and his own poetic interpretations of world literature by RILKE and SHAKESPEARE, MARIE VON TECK, STEPHANIE MOHR and LOUSIE LABÈ. Born and raised in Oslo, Norway, KYRRE KVAM studied drama and musicals at Mountview Academy in London and toured England with the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. He then moved to Vienna, where he starred in the musical "Hair" at the Raimund Theater. After taking part in numerous productions such as "West Side Story" and "Poppea", he was responsible for the music arrangement at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt in 2010. Since then he has worked mainly as a composer and singer. KVAM has already composed music for television series such as "Altes Geld", "Braunschlag" and "Höhenstrasse" by DAVID SCHALKO. In 2014, the first album "2508" was finally released as a solo artist. With "Lost In Translation", the now Vienna-based composer presents independent interpretations of foreign texts to his own music. For his songs he chose lyrics like "Kimbery" by DAVID SCHALKO, "Birdland" by JANUSZ KICA and "Maria Stuart" by STEPHANIE MOHR. These are accompanied by piano and electronic keyboard sounds. With his extraordinary voice, KVAM describes the feeling of moving between worlds and combines intensive poems with touching compositions. The result is a unique fusion of melodic lyrics and classic, spherical piano sounds. In addition, his new release not only convinces with his strong and at the same time fragile and delicate voice, but also with the overall clear instrumentation - a musical masterpiece that hits the heart!
