The ´Godfather of Punk´ IGGY POP shows his soulful side and reinterprets French chansons, American jazz ballads and pop classics. These include the masterful compositions by SERGE GAINSBOURG (´La Javanaise´), JOE DASSIN (´Et Si Tu N`Existais Pas´), EDITH PIAF (´La Vie En Rose´), GEORGES BRASSENS (´Les Passantes´) and HENRI SALVADOR (´Syracuse´). In addition, he transfers classic songs like ´Michelle´ (BEATLES), ´Only The Lonely´ (FRANK SINATRA) or ´Everybody´s Talkin´´ (FRED NEIL) full of subtlety into sophisticated, imaginary nightclub spheres.
