| RD: 2023-04-14 | | ¿WHO’S THE CUBAN? | | Pafata | | Fileunder: World / Cumbia |  | With their new, funky vocal duo, the Latin rock fusion band ¿Who´s The Cuban? takes a musical trip around the world with their second album "Pafata". Influenced by fiery Cuban rhythms, the musicians play with elements of rock, pop and psychedelic sounds. This original fusion creates a tropical and at the same time electric mix that invites you to dance with its unique sounds.
United by the desire to fuse expressive percussion, soulful vocals and futuristic keyboard sounds, the musicians founded the band ¿Who´s The Cuban? in France in 2017. The band released its first album "Circo Circo" in 2019, welcoming its new vocal duo - Colombian singer Pao Barreto and Cuban trumpeter Dayron Ramirez Hernandez. With this new line-up, the septet enriched various festivals around the world with poetic lyricism and danceable rhythms. In France, the musicians created a heated atmosphere at the festivals Cabaret Vert, Au Fil des Voix, Convivencia and Tempo Latino. They also performed at the Canadian festivals Festival d´Été de Québec and Kultrùn Festival, as well as the Cuban festivals Havana, Pinar Del Rio, Matanzas and Varadero. In October 2022, the band released its album "Circo Live," which resulted from the collaboration ¿Who´s The Cuban? Orchestra, a Latin jazz big band adaptation of their compositions, with the Nancy Jazz Pulsations 2019 festival. In 2022, ¿Who´s The Cuban? ventured even further into genre blending with the release of the 2 EPs "Nunca Mataré" & "Summer Tape", an exciting glimpse into their new album "Pafata."
